Thyropygus javanicus[3] är en mångfotingart som först beskrevs av Brandt 1841. Thyropygus javanicus ingår i släktet Thyropygus och familjen Harpagophoridae.[4][5] Utöver nominatformen finns också underarten T. j. krakataunus.[4]
