Vesicularia spinosa[5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13] är en mossdjursart som först beskrevs av Carl von Linné den yngre 1767. Vesicularia spinosa ingår i släktet Vesicularia och familjen Vesiculariidae.[14][15] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[14]
