Vitfläckat glansfly,[2] Deltote pygarga[2] är en fjärilsart som först beskrevs av Johann Siegfried Hufnagel 1766. Enligt Dyntaxa[2] ingår Vitfläckat glansfly i släktet Deltote men enligt Catalogue of Life[1] är tillhörigheten istället släktet Lithacodia. Enligt båda källorna tillhör Vitfläckat glansfly familjen nattflyn, Noctuidae.[1][2][3] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[2] En underart finns listad i Catalogue of Life,[1] Lithacodia pygarga coreana Bryk, 1948.
