Chaetanaphothrips orchidii[1][2][3][4] är en insektsart som först beskrevs av Dudley Moulton 1907. Chaetanaphothrips orchidii ingår i släktet Chaetanaphothrips och familjen smaltripsar.[5][6][7] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[7] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[5]
