Cliona celata[7][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22][23][24][25][26][27] är en svampdjursart som beskrevs av Robert Edmond Grant 1826. Enligt Catalogue of Life[28][29] ingår Cliona celata i släktet Cliona och familjen borrsvampar, men enligt Dyntaxa[30] är tillhörigheten istället släktet Cliona och familjen Clionidae. Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[30] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[28]
