Cliona lobata[2][3][4][5][6][7] är en svampdjursart som beskrevs av Hancock 1849. Enligt Catalogue of Life[8][9] ingår Cliona lobata i släktet Cliona och familjen borrsvampar, men enligt Dyntaxa[10] är tillhörigheten istället släktet Cliona och familjen Clionidae. Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[10] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[8]
