Phymateus aegrotus^[13]^[2]^[14]^[15]^[3]^[4]^[5]^[16]^[17]^[12]^[18]^[19]^[7]^[8]^[20] är en insektsart som först beskrevs av Gerstaecker 1869. Phymateus aegrotus ingår i släktet Phymateus och familjen Pyrgomorphidae.^[21]^[22] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.^[21]
