Bathythrix thomsoni[2] är en stekelart som först beskrevs av Kerrich 1942. Bathythrix thomsoni ingår i släktet Bathythrix och familjen brokparasitsteklar.[3][4][5] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[5] Inga underarter finns listade.[3]
