Biosteres placidus[4] är en stekelart som först beskrevs av Alexander Henry Haliday 1837. Biosteres placidus ingår i släktet Biosteres och familjen bracksteklar.[5][6][7] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[7] Inga underarter finns listade.[5]
