Chremylus elaphus[6] är en stekelart som beskrevs av Alexander Henry Haliday 1833. Chremylus elaphus ingår i släktet Chremylus och familjen bracksteklar.[7][8][9] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[9] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[7]
