Cryptopygus thermophilus[1][2] är en urinsektsart som först beskrevs av Axelson 1900. Cryptopygus thermophilus ingår i släktet Cryptopygus och familjen Isotomidae.[3][4][5] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[5] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[3]
