Exetastes zelotypus är en stekelart som beskrevs av Ezra Townsend Cresson 1879.[1] Exetastes zelotypus ingår i släktet Exetastes och familjen brokparasitsteklar.[2][3] Utöver nominatformen finns också underarten E. z. erythrogaster.[2]
