Halticoptera circulus[1][10][4][11][9] är en stekelart som först beskrevs av Walker 1833. Halticoptera circulus ingår i släktet Halticoptera och familjen puppglanssteklar.[12][13][14] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[14] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[12]
