Idotea linearis[1][4][5][6][7] är en kräftdjursart som först beskrevs av Carl von Linné 1766. Idotea linearis ingår i släktet Idotea och familjen tånglöss.[8][9][10] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[10] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[8]
