Maupasia coeca[8][9][10][11] är en ringmaskart som beskrevs av René Viguier 1886. Enligt Catalogue of Life[12][13] ingår Maupasia coeca i släktet Maupasia och familjen Lopadorrhynchidae, men enligt Dyntaxa[14] är tillhörigheten istället släktet Maupasia och familjen Lopadorhynchidae. Arten har ej påträffats i Sverige.[14] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[12]
