Mesopolobus albitarsus[3] är en stekelart som först beskrevs av Walker 1834. Mesopolobus albitarsus ingår i släktet Mesopolobus och familjen puppglanssteklar.[9][10][11] Enligt den finländska rödlistan[12] är arten nära hotad i Finland. Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[11] Artens livsmiljö är lundskogar.[12] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[9]
