Mesopolobus fuscipes[8] är en stekelart som först beskrevs av Walker 1834. Mesopolobus fuscipes ingår i släktet Mesopolobus och familjen puppglanssteklar.[9][10][11] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[11] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[9]
