Mesopolobus sericeus[3][12] är en stekelart som först beskrevs av Forster 1770. Mesopolobus sericeus ingår i släktet Mesopolobus och familjen puppglanssteklar.[15][16][17] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[17] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[15]
