Neliopisthus elegans[4] är en stekelart som först beskrevs av Johannes Friedrich Ruthe 1855. Neliopisthus elegans ingår i släktet Neliopisthus och familjen brokparasitsteklar.[5][6][7] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[7] Utöver nominatformen finns också underarten N. e. semirufus.[5]
