Platynocheilus cuprifrons[10][11][12] är en stekelart som först beskrevs av Christian Gottfried Daniel Nees von Esenbeck 1834. Platynocheilus cuprifrons ingår i släktet Platynocheilus och familjen raggsteklar.[13][14][15] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[15] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[13]
