Spaniopus monospilus[7] är en stekelart som först beskrevs av Thomson 1878. Spaniopus monospilus ingår i släktet Spaniopus och familjen puppglanssteklar.[8][9][10] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[10] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[8]
