Tromatobia ovivora^[18] är en stekelart som först beskrevs av Karl Henrik Boheman 1821. Tromatobia ovivora ingår i släktet Tromatobia och familjen brokparasitsteklar.^[19]^[20]^[21] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.^[21] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.^[19]
