Sepia smithi[2][5][6] är en bläckfiskart som beskrevs av William Evans Hoyle 1885. Sepia smithi ingår i släktet Sepia och familjen Sepiidae.[7][8] IUCN kategoriserar arten globalt som livskraftig.[1] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[7]
