Argyrotheca cistellula[2][3][4] är en armfotingsart som först beskrevs av Searles-Wood 1841. Enligt Catalogue of Life[5][6] ingår Argyrotheca cistellula i släktet Argyrotheca och familjen Megathyrididae, men enligt Dyntaxa[7] är tillhörigheten istället släktet Argyrotheca och familjen Megathirididae. Enligt den svenska rödlistan[1] är arten otillräckligt studerad i Sverige. Arten förekommer i Götaland.[1] Artens livsmiljö är havet.[1] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[5]
