Clethrobius comes[5][6][7][1][8][3] är en insektsart som först beskrevs av Walker 1848. Enligt Catalogue of Life[9][10] ingår Clethrobius comes i släktet Clethrobius och familjen långrörsbladlöss, men enligt Dyntaxa[11] är tillhörigheten istället släktet Clethrobius och familjen borstbladlöss. Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[11] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[9]
