Glyptothorax dorsalis[4] är en fiskart som beskrevs av Vinciguerra, 1890. Glyptothorax dorsalis ingår i släktet Glyptothorax och familjen Sisoridae.[5][6] IUCN kategoriserar arten globalt som livskraftig.[1] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[5]
