Periphyllus testudinaceus[9][10][11][3][5][4] är en insektsart som först beskrevs av Fernie 1852. Enligt Catalogue of Life[12][13] ingår Periphyllus testudinaceus i släktet Periphyllus och familjen långrörsbladlöss, men enligt Dyntaxa[14] är tillhörigheten istället släktet Periphyllus och familjen borstbladlöss. Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[14] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[12]
