Wesmaelius subnebulosus^[12] är en insektsart som först beskrevs av Stephens 1836. Wesmaelius subnebulosus ingår i släktet Wesmaelius och familjen florsländor.^[13]^[14]^[15] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.^[15] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.^[13]
