Kreator är ett tyskt thrash metal-band som bildades 1982 i Essen. Bandet hette från början Metal Militia och sedan Tyrant och Tormentor. De debuterade 1985 med skivan Endless Pain och räknas tillsammans med Destruction, Sodom och Tankard till "de stora fyra" inom tysk thrash metal. Bandet har sålt över två miljoner album världen över.[1]
Kreator har släppt femton studioalbum. Det senaste, Hate Über Alles, gavs ut 2022. Ett sextonde album är planerat för utgivning i januari 2026.[2]
